Panel discussion "Who owns public space?" (in German language)

From 14.00 to 15.00, we will present the mediation format CABRIO on art in public space in the Kunstverein, in the Kunsthalle Bielefeld there will be a guided tour of the exhibition "A city becomes greener. 7000 oaks in Bielefeld" and a tour through the sculpture park.

The panel discussion starts at 4 p.m. in the lecture hall of the Kunsthalle Bielefeld, admission is from 3:30 p.m. on.

As part of the first symposium of the Regiopole network "Art in Public Space in Bielefeld, Gütersloh and Herford", a discussion on questions about art in public space will take place with Markus Ambach, Michael Deppe, Andreas Kornacki, Rose Pfister, Anne-Kathrin Reinberg and Dr. Udo Witthaus. The event will be moderated by Claudia Dichter (WDR 5 SCALA, Cologne).

100 Years of Joseph Beuys

On the occasion of this year's 100th birthday of Joseph Beuys, we would like to invite you to a joint evening of the Kunsthalle Bielefeld and the Kunstverein Bielefeld. The event will take place at Artur-Ladebeck-Strasse 5, 33602 Bielefeld. The evening starts with an introduction by Dr. Linda Walther (curator, Kunsthalle Bielefeld) to the project 7000 Eichen (1982-1987) by Joseph Beuys. Afterwards, Dr. Frank Duwe (art historian, Bielefeld) will give the lecture Joseph Beuys - from the "Fat Corner" to Social Sculpture.

Members' event Visit of the exhibition Gaze / Maze Elsa Kunst &/ Raum, Elsa-Brändström-Straße 13, Bielefeld

Gaze / Maze aims at the reflected gaze as an alternative to the male / female gaze model. The questioning of power relations in photography is developed on a linguistic level, but also through the result-open installation of the exhibition. The disclosure of the production structures is further unusual. The installation was developed specifically for the space by Katharina Bosse and Paula Winkler together with Elia Alba, Julika Rudelius and in dialogue with Daniel Neugebauer and Femi Oyewole. The artist Katharina Bosse will guide through the exhibition.
