Kunst-Dreieck

The Art Triangle Bielefeld (Kunst-Dreieck Bielefeld) is delighted to present our third joint event, bringing together the Kunstverein Bielefeld, the Kunstforum Hermann Stenner and the Kunsthalle Bielefeld, as part of their ongoing covid pandemic cooperation. Beginning on Saturday, June 26, 2021, the Kunst-Dreieck will be made available for a digital audience. The three institutions have developed joint guided tours that take place in digital space and jump from house to house in a domino effect. Inspired by the concepts of colour, pairs and furniture, the tours use the openness of the digital space and make the limiting walls of the houses disappear to show the exhibitions Jacoba van Heemskerck: Uncompromisingly Modern, John Miller: Publicity/Counter-Publicity, Konstantin Grcic | Jorge Pardo: A chair, lamps and a museum. miteinander gegenüber #2 (Kunsthalle), Vaclav Pozarek: TUC (Turnstile Utter Chaos) (Kunstverein) and Hans Purrmann: A Life in Colour (Kunstforum).

The films feature the directors of the three cooperating institutions in different conversational constellations: Nadine Droste (Kunstverein Bielefeld), Christiane Heuwinkel (Kunstforum Hermann Stenner) and Christina Végh (Kunsthalle Bielefeld), along with colleagues Henrike Mund (curator, Kunsthalle Bielefeld), Leonore Spemann (curatorial assistant, Kunstverein Bielefeld) and Laura Oymanns (education and communication officer, Kunstforum Hermann Stenner).
